The COVID-19 pandemic is currently affecting the world in an unprecedented manner, putting huge strain on both our medical and financial system. While we cannot help with health, we would like to help out students that are affected by COVID-19 as much as we can by donating assistance funds of $500 for food, shelter and/or transport. If you are a student who currently has the COVID-19, you suspect that you might have the COVID-19 virus and are under quarantine, we want to help. We understand that self-isolation can present financial challenges so we will donate $500 USD to a student who needs it during the crisis. We don’t know how long the crisis will last however we plan on giving out multiple rounds of assistance funds, please check back to see the updated date.

To apply for the donation, you will need to write a 200 words describing your current experience with the COVID-19 virus and how you can use the donation. Make sure to describe your situation and please let us know where you are currently studying.

Who Can Apply For The Corvid-19 Assistance?

Any student who has been accepted by or is currently enrolled in an accredited university in the U.S. is eligible to apply.

What Is The Application Process?

• Write the 200 words, sending it to us directly via the button below or save it as a .doc file. No other file types are accepted.
• Write an email to assistance@waytoosocial.com and tell us a little bit about yourself, including where you were studying before you were impacted by the COVID-19.
• Attach your document to the email or include the 200 words directly within the email. Please do not send a link to a Google Doc or other online document.
• Send us the email before midnight on April 9th, 2020.

How Are Entries Evaluated?

We are looking for the entries that best describe how they can make use of our donation. We aren’t focused on the quality of writing and instead, we want to focus on helping as much as we can.

How Will The Winner Be Notified?

The winner will be notified by email on April 10th, 2020. If we haven’t gotten a response after 14 days, we’ll choose another winner.Submit your application here!
